Description

Nufar is an open-pollinated Italian large-leaf Ocimum basilicum with classic basil scent. Upright branching plants reach 24 to 30 inches and keep producing when picked often.

Sow on the surface and cover lightly, sprouting in 5 to 10 days at 65 to 75ºF. Start indoors 4 to 8 weeks before last frost or direct sow after frost every 2 to 4 inches, thinning to 8 to 12 inches apart in full sun.
