Description
Perseo Radicchio is an open-pollinated red Chioggia type with extra-early, uniform heads measuring 3–4 inches. It performs best in mild or cool spring and fall weather, when temperatures stay below 70°F.
Sow ¼ inch deep in fertile, well-drained soil and keep the seedbed evenly moist. Start indoors 3–4 weeks before planting out or direct sow in spring once the soil reaches at least 50°F; harvest by cutting the whole heads.
