Megatron produces extra-large, thick-walled chile peppers reaching 4 1/2 inches long. The plants harvest earlier than some jalapenos and yield an abundance of peppers ripe for stuffing.
Jalapenos rate 2,500-5,000 Scoville heat units. This variety carries high resistance to bacterial leaf spot races 0-3 and tobamovirus. A taco stuffed jalapeno recipe comes inside the packet.
