Description
Miyashige White is a winter daikon radish with a light, slightly spicy flavor. Young roots can be shredded fresh, while mature roots are cooked in stir-fries and soups or pickled.
Sow after midsummer or in fall, since shortening days and cool temperatures form roots. Deep roots also help break up heavy soils.
