Juane Canary Melon is an open-pollinated Cucumis melo that makes oval fruit to about 7 inches long. Dark green skin turns yellow when ripe, with sweet white flesh inside.
Sow 1/2 inch deep. Sprouts in 4 to 10 days at 70 to 85 degrees F. Space plants 36 inches apart after the last frost and keep well watered in composted soil.
