Description
Karikachi is an open-pollinated Glycine max with large yields on tall indeterminate plants. Sow 1 inch deep, 2-3 inches apart after last frost in soil above 75°F. Sprouts in 4-10 days at 75-85°F.
Pick green pods tender for edamame, or wait until pods turn yellow and brittle for dried soybeans. Steam whole pods 5-10 minutes in salted water and pop beans from shells.
