Description
Lemon Eucalyptus produces narrow, gray-green leaves with a strong lemon scent and a high percentage of citronella oil. The upright, multi-stemmed plant can reach 36–48 inches in one season and stays bushier when pruned back.
The packet contains 20 seeds. Start indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost by sowing on the surface and lightly covering. Transplant after frost into full sun, 18–24 inches apart, or grow it in a container. Pinching seedlings encourages branching; the plant is a tender perennial in zones 8–10.
