Description
Mandarina is a Melissa officinalis variety with compact, spreading growth to 18-24 inches and an orange scent. Sow seeds on the surface without covering, since they need light, and keep soil at 65-75°F for sprouts in 7-21 days.
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost, then move outside after frost 12-18 inches apart. Pick leaves before bloom, around 65-70 days, for culinary or tea use.
