Perfection Savoy is a pre-1885 heirloom cabbage from France with large coarsely crumpled heads on 6-8" stems. Sow 1/4" deep, start indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost or sow outdoors once soil reaches 60ºF, space 24-36" for large heads. Sprouts in 7-12 days in 65-85ºF soil.
Needs fertile soil rich in organic matter and steady growth for solid heads. One packet plants a 15-20 foot row and holds 30 seeds.
