Shenot Crown of Thorns is a Cucurbita pepo ornamental gourd valued for colorful, hard-shelled decoration.
Sow 1" deep, 2-3 seeds per hill every 36-48" outside after frost when soil reaches at least 70ºF. Sprouts in 7-10 days at 70-90ºF. Harvest mature gourds before cold weather and cure cool, dark and dry.
