Description
Taylor Horticultural is a heirloom Phaseolus vulgaris grown for shelled and dried beans. Sow 1 inch deep, 2-3 inches apart after last frost in soil above 60°F. Sprouts in 4-10 days at 70-85°F.
Plants make flat 4-5 inch pods that develop cranberry splashes as seed dries. Leave pods until leaves brown and pods wither, then finish drying indoors if fall turns wet.
