Zephyr is an F1 hybrid summer squash with crookneck, delicate and acorn parentage. Fruits are light yellow with faint white stripes and a pale green blossom end, with a delicate nutty flavor when harvested at 4-6 inches.
Sow 1/2-1 inch deep outdoors after last frost when soil is over 70F, a few seeds every 36-48 inches. Sprouts in 4-10 days at 70-85F. Pick a few times a week in fertile, well-watered soil.
