Deep Purple is an F1 hybrid imperator carrot, Daucus carota. Roots grow 7-8" tapered, purple outside and inside with a light yellow core.
Sow 1/4" deep. Thin to 1-3" apart. Sprouts in 6-14 days at 60-85ºF soil. Sow outdoors from 3 weeks before the last frost into mid-summer. One right-sized packet plants about a 9-foot row.
