Description
Florence Fennel, also called finocchio, is grown for its compact white bulb, which can exceed 1 pound and nearly 1 foot in height. The bulbs are used raw or cooked; sow directly in early to mid-spring or start in pots 4–6 weeks before the last frost, taking care not to disturb the roots when transplanting.
