Radichetta, also called Catalogna, is a fast Italian heirloom loose-leaf type halfway between lettuce and chicory. Sow 1/4 inch deep, 1 inch apart, then thin to 6-12 inches.
Seed sprouts in 4-10 days at 60-70°F. Sow outdoors in spring once soil reaches 50°F and cut whole heads or individual leaves in 52 days.
