Purple Moon Cauliflower is an F1 hybrid with intense purple heads and a short maturity time. The curds are enjoyable raw or roasted, and the plants performed reliably in raised-bed trials from spring transplants.
Start seeds indoors 4–5 weeks before the last frost, or sow outdoors in spring and midsummer for fall crops. Grow in fertile soil rich in organic matter, keep plants well watered, and tie the leaves around the developing heads to blanch them before harvest.
