Description
Red Burgundy okra shows red on stems, pods, flowers and partly on leaves, so it works as an ornamental as well as a vegetable. One packet plants a 20-25 foot single row.
Sow 1/2 inch deep after the last frost when soil is over 70F. Sprout comes in 7-10 days at 75-85F soil temperature. Thin to 12-18 inches apart. Clip pods at 2-4 inches to keep plants flowering.
