Description
Sessantina Grossa Broccoli produces 12–14-inch plants with a strong broccoli flavour that mellows during cooking. It forms more of a head than many broccoli raab varieties, while the stems, shoots, buds, and leaves are all edible.
Sow ¼ inch deep in spring or midsummer for a fall crop. Harvest tight heads before the flower buds open, then keep picking side shoots for a longer harvest. The plants grow best in fertile soil with even moisture.
