Baby Oakleaf is a loose-leaf oakleaf lettuce bred compact and vigorous for small gardens and containers. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep, 1 inch apart, then thin to 6-12 inches. Sprouts in 4-10 days when soil is 60-70ºF.
We pack 300 seeds to plant about a 25-foot single row. Sow outside after soil reaches 50ºF, every 2-3 weeks for longer harvest, and cut whole heads or snip outer leaves.
