Montana Giant is a porcelain hardneck garlic from Flathead Valley, Montana. Each order holds 3 bulbs, about 12-18 cloves for planting.
Plant outside in fall 3-4 weeks before ground freezes, 2-4 inches deep and 5-6 inches apart with pointed end up. Mulch 4 inches with straw or chopped leaves. Ships in season in early to mid-October for 2026 fall planting. Harvest when lower 4-5 leaves have dried, then cure 2-3 weeks in warm ventilated shade.
