Ivan is a porcelain hardneck garlic variety from Canada. Bulbs grow giant, comparable to Music but larger, with a hot flavor that turns sweet and long-lasting when cooked or roasted.
We plant cloves pointed-end up, 2 to 4 inches deep and 5 to 6 inches apart, about 3 to 4 weeks before the ground freezes. This is a fall-planted live good that ships in season in early to mid-October.
