German White is a porcelain hardneck garlic with white wrappers and red-purple-tinted cloves. Plant cloves 2-4 inches deep and 5-6 inches apart with the pointed end up, about 3-4 weeks before the ground freezes.
Ships for fall 2026 planting in early to mid-October as 3 bulbs per order. Heads form 4-6 large cloves with strong raw taste that mellows in cooking and turns sweet and nutty when roasted.
