Description
Orinoco is a tall tobacco variety with thick, textured leaves that cure to a rich brown. It is favored for pipes and also works for blending cigars and cigarettes.
Sow the tiny seeds indoors quite early in spring, then transplant after frost the same way as tomatoes or peppers. Give each plant about two square feet; plants can top 5 feet. The airtight packet holds a guaranteed minimum of 50 seeds.
